DOOM Tour Photos – Lex Records

Pretty cool that Lex Records (MF DOOM’s record label) decided to use my photos as their label photos for DOOM’s Sydney concert.

Textbook & Medicine Man

Photoshoot for the two new writers on PRIMO! magazine. First image is of Textbook, the second of Medicine Man.

David Askill – Modern Worship

April 21st saw the first installment of David Askill’s ‘Modern Worship’. Mixing Michael Jackson with a Boeing Plane that crashes through a glass window, which is then met by MJ, who then stops the aircraft in it’s tracks, this exhibition was insane. Held at the disused Christian Science Church in Darlinghurst, and ran by Izrock publisher, and Monster Children curator Joseph Allen Shea, the exhibit was a complete success.

Secret Wars Sydney Round 3 – Heesco v Sonny

…And the winner is: Sonny.

Does @ Lo Fi

Lo Fi Collective on Taylor Square always produces some ridiculously awesome works by local, and international artists. The 3rd of March 2011 was no different. ‘Does’ as he is known, is one of the world’s most talented graffiti artists. His show “I Love Letters” was a huge success.

Supafest at Acer Arena, Sydney

Supafest was an absolute ballin’ day. Nothing more to say about really, except I was completely blown away by how awesome each act was.. Except for Busta Rhythms. What a let down. Photos up soon.

youeni provides

There is this amazing cafe in Darlinghurst called ‘youeni provides’ that has some of the most delightful coffee/food I have ever come across. As I realistically have absolutely no idea about different kinds of coffee beans, and what makes them either good or bad, I have always generally gone off what I think tastes good, proving I am definitely no coffee connoisseur. If I think something tastes good, I will generally let people know about it. I happen to be very good at that, actually.

Anyway, apart from the incredible food, youeni provides has a vibe that is incredibly relaxed, and the staff seem to be super happy to be there. You have to love it when you see people enjoying their jobs. It makes you feel welcome in a place and not feel like a customer. I just happen to have my camera on me this day and decided to take a photo while enjoying a latte with a croissant. I seriously love this place.
